Longwood Dental believes in preventive dentistry and has a conservative treatment philosophy. Our dental specialist team takes time diagnosing patients before planning and performing treatments. For new patients, we advise receiving our comprehensive checkup for a thorough and accurate diagnosis. Any treatment needed will always be referred in-clinic to one of our dental specialists who is professionally specialized in your required field.

Our goal is to help improve your quality of life.

* It is very important to always consult a doctor first regarding your dental medical concerns.

Missing Teeth?

Are you missing some teeth? If left untreated, the open gap will allow for neighboring teeth to "move-in" leading to shifting teeth, misalignment,  bone loss, and other complications that will ultimately require much more medical intervention long term. Consult a dental specialist soon to evaluate and discuss treatment options for restoration.

Bleeding / Sore Gums?  Loose Teeth?  Gum Recession?

If your gums bleed regularly when you brush/floss, or if you experience loose teeth or gum recession, consult a periodontist for a checkup.  These symptoms are likely signs of gingivitis, a reversible and preventable chronic gum disease, and will lead to tooth loss if left untreated.  According to CDC and MOHW, 47% of US population and over 90% of TW population suffer from periodontal disease.

Wisdom Teeth Problems?

Wisdom teeth can be problematic if there is insufficient room to surface and become impacted (trapped). Impacted wisdom teeth can lead to infection, pain, swelling, and damage of neighboring teeth and bone structure. Statistically, 90% of people have at least one impacted wisdom tooth. If you are experiencing pain in your wisdom teeth area, see a dentist immediately.
